Contest purposes and goals
The main objective is to let talented young people join the oil-gas area for dealing with tasks of Russian oil-producing companies.
The contest goals include getting Russian higher educational institutions students and young specialists involved into production, and also promoting creation of conditions for carrying out the projects containing offers on solving urgent problems in this area.
Who can participate?
The program is carried out for students, postgraduates of Russian technical higher educational institutions, and also for young specialists no older than 35.
Projects can be prepared either individually or by an author team (not more than 3-5 participants).
Individual participation. Project is presented for the contest by one author. A main emphasis is made on the depth of a topic considered and completeness of the solution presented.
Team participation. Project is presented for the contest by a team of 3-5 participants. The participation of various specializations specialists is preferable for more broad coverage of the topic considered and for its presentation from different points of view.
Projects theme orientation
Developing of technologies of oil gas processing at the extent of 1-10 billion m3 a year, acceptable for using on low-tonnage block-modular devices straight on the deposit:
1. oil gas refinement from hydrogen disulfide and mercaptans;
2. oil gas separation;
3. oil gas processing into gas synthesis;
4. gas-chemical technologies of processing oil gas into liquid synthetical fuel;
5. energy using of oil gas;
6. other ways of oil gas cost-effective using
To the participation in the Program are allowed: projects, researches and analytical works, including undergraduate and graduate theses
Group of experts
Group of experts is created with the purpose of defining the topics of the contest, selection, estimating the best works and identifying the winners according to the methods and criteria of works estimation, determined by the Statement given.
The group of experts is formed from engineers of the area by the contest initiators. The quantity of members of the group is odd-numbered and consists of 7 or more members.
The decisions are taken by a simple majority of all the present.
Works acceptance
The terms of handing in the works
Up to June 1st, 2010 the contest works are accepted.
Up to June 15, 2010 the members of expert committee select 10 best works, which will participate in the final.
In July the winners and prize-winners will be appointed in the “Innovations and technical creation” session of “Seliger-2010” All-Russian youth forum in presentation mode.
Works in digital form are sent through “participant’s personal cabinet” not later than July 1st, 2010.

Steering committee can change the terms of handing works, by informing about that through the website.
Steering committee can decline a work from participation if it doesn’t correspond to this Statement requirements, by informing a participant about that.
The main content of works
Contest works shall include:
DOC or PDF-form description;
Participant’s name and last name;
Contact information (e-mail, telephone);
Name of a project;
Work brief review (not more than one page of connected text including all the main aspects of the work: problem formulation and a brief description of solution);
Accurate and full definition of a displayed problem (2-3 pages);
Explanation of a problem urgency and reasons of its rise (not more than 2-3 pages); Practical options and approaches to the problem solution;
Technical aspects;
Financial aspects.
Having operational prototype, video report and using ANSYS, HAYSYS etc. programs is not obligatory, but it gives an andvantage.
Applications with unfilled web-margin are considered by the expert jury according to the project benefit on the whole.
Participants can present several projects. For each project it’s necessary to fill in a separate application and accompany a project with full information.
Contest steering committee has a right not to accept works containing insults, pornographic materials, improper images or links.
Criteria of work estimation:
Topic urgency;
Completeness of topic disclosure according to the plan;
Self-sufficiency in writing work, reasoned author’s point of view;
Scientific style of exposition;
Fresh fact materials on considered issue;
Work analiticy;
Reflection of history of considered issue, foreign experience of issue;
Practical orientation of work.
Methods of estimating works:
Contest works estimation is held in two phases.
In the first phase all works are checked by the members of the group of experts and receive its own point according to the confirmed criteria.
On the grounds of the received points ten best works participate in the second selection phase.
In the second phase the steering committee indicates the best projects.
Contest works estimation will be held in the “Innovations and technical creation” session of “Seliger-2010” All-Russian youth forum.
Extra:
Contest results and contest works (with authors’ permission) will be published in mass media and will be used in the context of works (with authors’ participation) on implementation of perspective technologies and productáion of equipment on its base for oil-gas field of Russian industry.
Contest participants automatically become “Zvorykinsky project” participants with getting an opportunity to participate in the Innovative Convention-2010.
The most distinguished contest participants will have an opportunity to participate in further development, including an opportunity to participate in absentia, of perspective technologies for the oil-gas area of Russian industry supported by “Oil-gas Technologies” Russian Scientific and Production Center.
Awards:
Contest participants can be awarded with participant’s certificates, formal documents, souvenirs. The contest winners are awarded with the 1stClass diplomas. Prize-winners are awarded with the 2d and 3d Class diplomas.
The contest winner will get a money reward in the amount of 500 000 rubles and also an opportunity to head one of the areas in development of technologies for the oil-gas area
